Our Creative Founder.

Sam is the founder of Wangaratta Art School — a warm, inclusive space built on the belief that art should be accessible to everyone. As a solo mum, artist, and community worker, Sam brings a unique blend of heart, creativity, and purpose to everything she does.

She believes art is a chance to breathe — a calming, restorative experience that lowers stress and helps us reconnect with ourselves and others. At the school, all ages and abilities are welcome. Kids play while parents paint, and creativity is celebrated over perfection. There are no mistakes — just expression.

With values of community, acceptance, and freedom, Sam’s mission is to make art feel safe, joyful, and deeply human.
