About the event

Still life drawing is where technique and observation meet — and in this new Term 3 evening program, you’ll learn how to create drawings that feel structured, intentional, and full of life.

Running every Tuesday evening from 5:30pm–7:00pm, this 8-week class is designed for adults who are ready to move beyond casual sketching. With guided exercises, real-world object arrangements, and expert feedback, you’ll train your eye to see like an artist and your hand to draw with greater control and expression.

Led by an experienced instructor, each session includes technique demonstrations, hands-on drawing time, and the exploration of more advanced principles like composition, tonal range, light behaviour, and surface rendering.
