Welcome to Wangaratta Art School. By accessing or using our website, services, or participating in our workshops and events, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Information

1.1. Wangaratta Art School offers art workshops, events, and related services.
1.2. By booking or attending any workshop or event, you agree to these terms and conditions.
1.3. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Bookings and Payments

2.1. All bookings must be made through our website or authorized channels.
2.2. Payment in full is required to confirm your booking unless otherwise stated.
2.3. Prices are listed in AUD and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1. Cancellations made more than 5  FULL BUSINESS days before the workshop will receive a full refund.
3.2. Cancellations made within 2 FULL BUSINESS days of the workshop will not be refunded.
3.3. If a workshop is canceled or rescheduled by Wangaratta Art School, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking.

4. Workshop Participation

4.1. All participants must follow the instructor's guidelines for safety and respect others in the workshop.
4.2. Wangaratta Art School is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur during workshops.
4.3. Participants are responsible for any damage caused to the property, equipment, or artwork during the event.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. All content, materials, and artwork created by Wangaratta Art School are protected by copyright laws.
5.2. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or sell any content without prior written consent.

6. Privacy Policy

6.1. Any personal information collected will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6.2. We will not share your information with third parties without your consent unless required by law.

7. Liability

7.1. Wangaratta Art School is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during workshops or events.
7.2. By attending, you agree to participate at your own risk.

8. Governing Law

8.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

🎨 Welcome-to-Term Bonus Pack – Terms & Conditions

  1. This offer is available to students who enrol in any Term 2 art class at Wangaratta Art School before 11:59pm on April 1st, 2025 (AEST).

  2. The Welcome-to-Term Bonus Pack includes a universal starter kit designed to suit all creative classes.

  3. Contents of the pack include:
    • Colour Wheel
    • A5 Art Pad
    • Charcoal Stick
    • Mini Paint Set (watercolour or acrylic)
    • Paint Brushes (2–3 assorted)

  4. Packs are not customisable and contents are subject to availability. Equivalent items may be substituted if needed.

  5. One bonus pack per person, per Term 2 booking.

  6. Bonus packs will be distributed at your first class. They cannot be posted or picked up early.

  7. This offer is not redeemable for cash, transferable, or valid with any other promotion.

  8. Wangaratta Art School reserves the right to modify or cancel this promotion at any time.

  1. Eligibility:
    This promotion is valid for all new Term 2 art class bookings made at Wangaratta Art School before 11:59pm (AEST) on April 1st, 2025.

  2. Offer Details:
    Eligible participants will receive one (1) Welcome-to-Term Bonus Pack, which includes:
    • 1 x Colour Wheel
    • 1 x A5 Art Pad
    • 1 x Charcoal Stick
    • 1 x Mini Paint Set (watercolour or acrylic)
    • 2–3 x Paint Brushes
    • 1 x Printed Welcome Note

  3. Distribution:
    Bonus packs will be distributed at your first scheduled class of Term 2. Packs cannot be shipped, collected early, or transferred to another person.

  4. One Per Booking:
    Limit of one bonus pack per person, per Term 2 booking. Not valid for casual or drop-in classes.

  5. Non-Transferable:
    The bonus pack is not redeemable for cash, not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for other products or services.

  6. No Substitutions:
    Contents of the pack are standardised and not tailored to specific class types. In the event of stock shortages, equivalent substitutions may be made at Wangaratta Art School’s discretion.

  7. Changes to Offer:
    Wangaratta Art School reserves the right to amend, extend, or withdraw this offer at any time without notice, while ensuring the value of the promotion remains fair and consistent.

Promoter
Wangaratta Art School (the “Promoter”), 50 Norton St, Wangaratta VIC 3677.

Promotion type
Free trade promotion lottery conducted in Victoria. No permit required under current VIC regulations.

Eligibility
Open to residents of Victoria aged 16 years or over. Entrants under 18 must have parent/guardian consent to accept a prize. Employees/contractors of the Promoter and their immediate families may enter but cannot influence the draw. No purchase necessary.

Promotion period
Opens upon publication of the Facebook post titled “Art Girl Chronicles — Episode 1” on the Promoter’s official Facebook Page and closes Friday 8 August 2025 at 5:00pm AEST.

How to enter
During the promotion period, comment 🎨 on the “Art Girl Chronicles — Episode 1” post on the Promoter’s official Facebook Page. One entry per person; multiple comments or multiple accounts do not increase chances and may be disqualified. Following the Page is encouraged but not required.

Prize (Winner’s Choice – winner selects one option only)
(a) Private Art Class (60 minutes) (RRP $90); or
(b) Two (2) Reset & Rewind seats (RRP $70 total); or
(c) Art House Collective Family Membership – 12 months (RRP $120); or
(d) Kids Term 4 class pass — valid for one Term 4 kids weekly class enrolment at Wangaratta Art School, subject to availability, maximum value $250 (if the chosen class exceeds this value the balance may be paid by the winner). Not redeemable for cash.

Prize conditions & validity
Options (a)–(c) are valid for 6 months from the award date; transferable to another person; not redeemable for cash. Option (d) must be claimed by 31 October 2025 and booked for Term 4, 2025 classes; transferable within a family; not cash‑redeemable.

Draw & notification
Random draw from eligible entries at 5:05pm AEST on Friday 8 August 2025 at 50 Norton St, Wangaratta. The winner will be announced on the Promoter’s Facebook Page and contacted via Facebook Direct Message. If the winner does not respond within 72 hours, the Promoter may conduct a redraw.

Verification
The Promoter may request reasonable evidence of identity and eligibility before confirming a prize.

Privacy
Entrant names/comments are used to administer the promotion. The Promoter’s general privacy practices apply. Winner names may be published on the Promoter’s Facebook Page.

Limitation of liability
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered as a result of entering or accepting a prize.

Facebook disclosure
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants completely release Facebook from any claims arising from participation.

Return & Refund Policy – Wangaratta Art School Online Shop

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

This means you are entitled to:
✅ A replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
✅ A repair or replacement if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Change-of-Mind Returns

We understand that sometimes you change your mind!

  • We gladly accept returns on physical products within 14 days of delivery, provided items are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.

  • Change-of-mind returns are not available for downloadable products, custom-made items, gift vouchers, or workshop/event bookings.

This change-of-mind policy is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Damaged or Faulty Items

  • If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please email us at [insert email] within 7 days of receiving your order, including your order number and photos of the issue.

  • We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund at no extra cost to you.

Workshop & Event Bookings

  • If we need to cancel an event, you will receive a full refund or a credit for another session.

  • If you can’t attend, please let us know at least 7 days prior, and we can transfer your booking to another date.

  • Refunds are not available for change-of-mind cancellations, but ACL guarantees still apply if a workshop does not go ahead as described or is not fit for purpose.

How to Return an Item

  1. Email us at [insert email] with your order number and reason for return.

  2. We’ll provide the return address and instructions.

  3. Once we receive and inspect the item, we’ll process your refund to the original payment method (refunds usually take 3–5 business days).

Shipping Costs

  • If you’re returning an item due to change of mind, return shipping costs are your responsibility.

  • If the return is due to a faulty or incorrect item, we’ll cover all shipping costs.
