This 8-week Kids Drawing Program is designed to nurture creativity, build confidence, and develop core drawing skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Starting Wednesday 8th October, this weekly class runs from 4:00–5:00pm at our Norton Street studio. Each week, children will explore a new drawing theme, building their understanding of shape, proportion, shading, and creative expression — all while having a great time with like-minded young artists.

We’ll cover:

• Observational drawing (learning to draw what they see)

• Cartooning and imaginative sketching

• Shading techniques and line control

• Fun prompts and creativity challenges

• Take-home exercises to keep practicing

Taught by passionate art educators, this class gives kids the tools and freedom to express themselves while developing important focus and fine motor skills.

Q: What age group is this class suitable for?

A: This class is ideal for children aged 7–12 years, though we’re flexible — if your child is a little younger or older but has a passion for drawing, they’re welcome!

Q: Does my child need any prior drawing experience?

A: Not at all! This class is beginner-friendly and designed to support all skill levels. Whether your child loves doodling or is just starting out, they’ll learn and grow each week.

Q: What do we need to bring?

A: Nothing! We provide all drawing materials — including sketchbooks, pencils, erasers, and any specialty supplies used during the term.

Q: Can I stay with my child during the class?

A: To help kids build confidence and independence, we encourage a drop-and-go approach. However, if your child experiences anxiety or has additional needs, please get in touch — we’re happy to make gentle accommodations.

Q: What if we miss a class?

A: We understand things happen! While we can’t offer refunds for missed classes, we’ll send your child’s materials home or offer a simple catch-up exercise they can do at home.

Q: Is this class NDIS-friendly?

A: Yes! We welcome NDIS participants and can provide invoices for plan managers or support coordinators. If your child requires a support worker to attend with them, that’s absolutely fine.

Q: How do I book?

A: Bookings can be made directly through our website, by phone, or in person at the studio. If you need Afterpay or in-person payment options, just let us know!
